Hello

This place was created in the hopes of getting our own kiwified barefoot community on the map.

I was recently inspired by the 1st Annual New York City Barefoot Run. They had an amazing turn out and I was gutted that my being in NZ and a lack of funds meant I missed out on what looked like a brilliant few days. So here I am, trying to see if there are any fellow barefoot NZers out there, and to have a place where we can all share our experiences in barefoot running, with using minimalist shoes or even for those of you who just want to learn a bit more about this still relatively unknown movement. And perhaps one day in the future we can hold the 1st annual New Zealand Barefoot run.
